Dr. Elizabeth O’Brien
Dr. Elizabeth O’Brien is a specialist Physician and Gastroenterologist. Elizabeth completed her Medical degree in 2011, and also holds a Bachelors degree in Medical Science with honours and a Masters in Public Health with distinction.
Her specialist training was undertaken across ten hospitals in New South Wales including Westmead, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Lismore and Port Macquarie Base Hospitals. She became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2019 and is accredited in gastroscopy and colonoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy; she is also a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA).
Her practice encompasses all aspects of gastroenterology including the evaluation of gastrointestinal bleeding and positive faecal occult blood tests, managing inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases and functional gastrointestinal conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome.
